HISTORY

THE EAST COAST PAGE PROGRAM CURRICULUM
Since 1986, NBC has been a prominent addition to the GE family. In an effort to embrace the relationship between NBC Universal and GE, the Page Program has implemented a learning and development curriculum that stems from the actions and values of it's parent company.
THE PAGE PROGRAM...
Goal: The NBC Universal Page Program seeks to recruit, develop and retain great diverse talent. Our Program acts as a primary pipeline to entry level positions at NBC Universal. NBC Universal believes that recruiting the best, most diverse talent provides a significant and competitive advantage in the media and entertainment industry.
Structure: One year learning and development program. The Page Program Curriculum has four rotational components: Build, Imagine, Solve and Lead. Each Page will have the opportunity to rotate through this Curriculum, in addition to maintaining their primary function as a Guest Relation’s staff member. The BUILD module is where each page will begin their journey within the Page Program. This module will last up to 12 weeks and includes orientation, online training and management feedback sessions. During BUILD a Page can expect to develop professional skills which will propel them towards the next modules of the program, IMAGINE, SOLVE and LEAD. Within the IMAGINE, SOLVE and LEAD modules, pages have the opportunity to apply to assignments, much like they would to a job, and if chosen based on their qualifications, the page will be placed on assignment for 12 weeks. We recommend applying for assignments in all modules in order to diversify your experience and learning within the program, as well as to ensure increased marketability for off program placement here at NBC Universal.
