This is an important notice on fraudulent communications that have been made to members of the public which are purported to be on behalf of NBCUniversal and/or Universal Pictures.
It has come to our attention that various individuals and organisations are contacting people offering false employment opportunities at NBCUniversal and/or Universal Pictures. These individuals and organisations may request personal information or money allegedly to progress the application or pay for work permits.
Please note that these communications are fraudulent. They do not originate from NBCUniversal or Universal Pictures nor are they associated with the NBCUniversal or Universal Pictures recruitment process.
- NBCUniversal and Universal Pictures (or any of the organisations that recruit on our behalf) will never ask for any money or payments from applicants, at any point in the recruitment process.
- All individuals who are successful in gaining an offer of employment from NBCUniversal or Universal Pictures, whether directly or indirectly, are always required to go through a formal recruitment process, which will always involve a meeting in person with a NBCUniversal or Universal Pictures employee or representative.
If you receive an email that instructs you to send replies to an email address that does not contain an @nbcuni.com address, please treat it as fraudulent.
We recommend that you do not respond to such emails or to unsolicited business propositions and/or offers from people with whom you are unfamiliar. Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know. If you receive such proposals, we would advise you to contact your local police and provide them with all information you may have from the senders (email addresses, phone/fax details, etc.).
