Media Operations & Broadcast Associate Program

Broadcast & Media Operations

Broadcast & Media Operations supports the preparation, integration, monitoring and distribution of NBCUniversal’s linear Cable Networks.  In our Englewood Cliff, NJ facility we operate a shared service model providing the linear integration, monitoring & satellite transmission for all of our major NBCU Cable networks. 

In our Centennial, CO facility we centrally prep and distribute all of our online TV Everywhere linear feeds for over 30 NBCUniversal Channels, centrally aggregate content for all our international networks and provide a comprehensive Disaster Recovery solution for all Broadcast Channels within NBCUniversal.

Program Summary

  • Intensive 18-24 month, experiential rotational program that consists of challenging assignments across various Broadcast & Media Operations departments designed to provide hands-on experience
  • Focus on operational management, project management and process improvement
  • Accelerates development and produces junior leaders
  • Exposure to senior leadership through presentations, roundtables, formal and informal meetings
  • Access to training curriculums with a focus on both core technical skills & leadership skills including, but not limited to: Project Management, Business Finance, Strategy Planning & Execution & Business Plan Development

Program Completion

  • Upon successful completion, Associate will be positioned for  career growth
  • Deployed into operations and assigned to critical business projects allowing the Associate to apply the skills gained over the course of the program

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of a 4 year degree
  • Cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated technical/analytical skills
  • Minimum of 6 months previous work experience (including internships)
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the US
  • Geographic mobility (assignments will vary: NJ & Colorado)
