NEW YORK - APRIL 9, 2014 - NBCUniversal announced today that Alison Moore has been named General Manager and Executive Vice President, TV Everywhere for the Content Distribution group. In this newly created role, Moore will be responsible for NBCUniversal's TV Everywhere initiative, including building a team to drive the consumer experience and develop marketing and strategy to increase audience awareness, adoption and engagement across the company's portfolio of networks.

Moore will work in concert with Ron Lamprecht, who will have expanded responsibilities in his current role as Executive Vice President, Digital Distribution. Lamprecht will broaden his focus on driving deal activity with current and future linear providers, operational delivery, and the current season TV windowing strategy for NBCUniversal's New Media platforms. Moore and Lamprecht will both report directly to Matt Bond, Executive Vice President, Content Distribution.
"Alison's proven leadership in digital media-from small start-ups to major media companies- adds tremendous value to our rapidly evolving content distribution effort," said Bond. "We have made tremendous strides making content available to fans when and where they want to watch it. Just last year NBCUniversal distributed 140 TV series on TV Everywhere marking more than 50 percent growth from the previous year. Now more than 16 networks are hosting 6,000 episodes per year of the freshest and best shows. With Alison's experience we're going to keep growing the amount of content available to consumers and take TV Everywhere to the next level."

Moore most recently operated as the GM/EVP of Daily Candy where she was responsible for strategic direction and business operations. Prior to coming to NBCU, Moore was HBO's SVP of Digital Products, where she led the consumer experience, content development strategy and operations of HBO's digital platforms: HBO GO,, HBO Social Platforms and HBO On Demand.  During her tenure at HBO, Moore was also responsible for HBO's brand advertising and promotional strategy. Prior to HBO, Moore worked at Cablevision, Turner Broadcasting and various digital start-ups.

Over the last year, NBCUniversal has made great progress with TV Everywhere. Led by Lamprecht and team, NBCUniversal has reached distribution deals with 80% of the marketplace and has built a robust platform via innovative technology solutions. After launching content from every NBCUniversal network into TV Everywhere, including live simulcast streams of each network, NBCUniversal is now a content leader in TV Everywhere. Moore and Lamprecht's roles will be a new and critical part of NBCUniversal's digital strategy.
