NBCUNIVERSAL'S HISPANIC ENTERPRISES AND CONTENT NAMES MARIA DREW AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
NEW YORK - June 2, 2014 - NBCUniversal's Hispanic Enterprises and Content announced that Maria Drew has been named Senior Vice President of Human Resources. She will report to Joe Uva, Chairman, Hispanic Enterprises and Content, NBCUniversal and will be based in Miami.
Drew will serve as a key member of the Hispanic Enterprises and Content leadership team, providing strategic direction and tactical execution for all activities related to the Human Resources function. In her role, she will ensure that human resources initiatives and programs are aligned with the company's priorities and lead a team of professionals to meet the growing demands of the organization in the rapidly growing U.S. Hispanic market. Drew will also manage organizational change initiatives and partner with senior leaders to create and support an inclusive environment focused on open communication, diversity and professional growth opportunities.
"Maria is an accomplished human resources executive with extensive experience in helping large organizations develop their talent and evolve their organizational culture in line with business priorities," said Uva. "Her strategic mindset, in-depth expertise in dealing with high performance leadership teams and business savvy are going to be a great addition to our team."

Most recently, Drew was President and Founder at HRStrategistGroup, a Miami-based Human Resources consulting firm, where she served as a strategic advisor to C-level executives looking to leverage business growth through change, effective business improvements and people strategies. Previously, she worked for Royal Caribbean International Cruises and spent over 16 years at The Walt Disney Company, where she held key managerial roles within the Human Resources function, the last of which was Vice President of Human Resources for the Latin America division.
Drew holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resources Management, from the University of La Verne in California.
