FAN FAVORITE FUNNY MAN ROD MAN WINS COVETED TITLE OF 'LAST COMIC STANDING' AND PRIZE PACKAGE WORTH $250,000 AT LAST NIGHT'S NBC FINALE
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - August 15, 2014 - The "Last Comic Standing" was Villa Rica, Georgia native Rod Man at last night's finale of the NBC summer series, as the popular comic won the coveted title and a prize package worth $250,000, including a talent deal and development deal for a television show. Judges Roseanne Barr, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters chose Rod Man as the winner of the competition as season eight drew to a close. He has been working as a comic for 19 years.

He and the other two finalists — Nikki Carr (Bronx, NY) and Lachlan Patterson (Vancouver, B.C.) — performed in the two-hour finale, as did judges Barr and Peters before the winner was chosen.
