'TODAY' CONTINUES TO CLOSE RATINGS GAP WITH GMA
NEW YORK - October 30, 2014 - NBC's TODAY continues to gain momentum and post significant ratings growth. TODAY closed the total viewer gap with GMA for the fourth straight week and narrowed ABC's lead by double digits week to week (by 19%), versus the same week last year (by 33%), and versus the season average (by 29%).
TODAY was the only morning news program to post total viewer gains versus both its 4Q'14 and season-to-date averages. Season-to-date, TODAY places first in all 18-49 demo ratings.
