'TODAY' CONTINUES TO CLOSE RATINGS GAP WITH GMA

For a Solid Month, TODAY Has Cut the Total Viewer Gap with GMA by Double Digits, Versus the Same Period Last Year TODAY Grew Its Total Viewer Deliveries for the Third Straight Week TODAY Delivered Multi-Month Highs in Total Viewers and the Key Demo A25-54 TODAY Posted the Most Total Viewer Growth of the Morning Shows Versus the Season-to-Date Average, Adding a Whopping 428k Viewers Year-To-Date, TODAY Places First In All 18-49 Demo Ratings

NEW YORK - November 20, 2014 - NBC's TODAY continues to gain momentum posting multi-month highs in total viewers and the key demo A25-54.   Over the past month, TODAY has closed the total viewer gap with GMA by double digits versus the same period last year.   For the third straight week, today has increased its total viewer deliveries.

TODAY posted the largest total viewer gains among the morning news shows versus 4Q'14 and season-to-date levels, adding 428k viewers.  Year-to-date, TODAY places first in all 18-49 demo ratings.

TODAY HIGHLIGHTS:

-TODAY averaged 5.097 million total viewers, leading CBS by +45% (+1.583 million)

-TODAY posted its third consecutive week of total viewer growth

-TODAY averaged 1.896 million A25-54 viewers, +79% (+834,000) ahead of CBS

-TODAY had its largest total viewer and A25-54 viewer deliveries in months (since at least after the months of corrected Nielsen data)

-Versus the same week last season, TODAY reduced GMA's total viewer lead by 15%

-Week-to-week, TODAY posted higher total viewer growth (+8%, or +396,000) than GMA while also increasing +1% among A25-54 viewers

-TODAY showed the biggest morning news total viewer gain versus 4Q'14/STD levels (+9%, or +428,000)

-TODAY was also up in key women/adults demo ratings, increasing in rating W/A18-49 (+7%/+9%) and rating W/A25-54 (+10%/+7%) versus 4Q'14/STD levels

-In the calendar year 2014, TODAY is the #1 morning news program among A18-49 viewers
