NEW YORK - February 24, 2014 - Bravo and Oxygen Media announced promotions today in the networks’ research department elevating Leslie Greene to Vice President of Primary Research, Bravo and Oxygen Media, Dara Levine to Vice President of Programming and Digital Research, Bravo and Oxygen Media, and expanding David Kaplan’s role to Vice President, Bravo and Oxygen Media Ad Sales Research. All three report to Michael Haggerty, Senior Vice President of Research for Bravo and Oxygen Media.

Greene will substantially expand oversight of all areas of primary program research, including testing of program concepts, casting reels, pilots and on air programming for both Bravo and Oxygen Media. Under her guidance, the primary research team will work with the on-air promotional, digital and social media departments to implement research insights and strategies across both networks.

Levine will oversee all strategic and detailed analyses and reporting for Bravo and Oxygen Program Strategy. She will additionally act as the point person for all interdepartmental Programming Research communications and manage all multiplatform and digital research reporting initiatives including VOD, Hulu and online platforms.

In his new expanded role, Kaplan will gain oversight over Oxygen Media while continuing to oversee Ad Sales Research at Bravo. He will work with both networks’ advertisers on custom measurement solutions as well as help strategically navigate through the evolving media landscape.  In addition, Kaplan will produce new insights across all key categories and share best practices with the networks’ marketing partners and industry experts.

"Leslie, Dara and David are invaluable members of our research teams and have all demonstrated great leadership ability and creative thinking in utilizing the power of key research insights to drive growth," said Michael Haggerty, SVP of Research for Bravo and Oxygen Media.

Greene began her career in primary research doing public policy analysis for Louis Harris and Gannett newspapers. From there, she held positions at ABC in both their primetime and daytime primary research teams.  Greene came to Bravo from Vh1 in 2007 as Director of Primary Research and most recently became Senior Director in 2012. Greene has been instrumental in developing the network's brand strategy and her work on Bravo's audience segmentation has helped successfully guide several areas of the company such as development, scheduling and promotional strategy. During her seven years at Bravo, the network has grown from the #21 cable network to #9.

Levine has been with NBCUniversal since 2004, holding key research posts across the company. She most recently served in the position of Senior Director of Programming Research for Oxygen Media where she oversaw the network's Program Research efforts for Development, Marketing, Press, Finance and Program Strategy.  She began her career at USA Network serving as Program Research Analyst after which she transitioned to Bravo as a Manager of Program Research. Levine holds an MBA in Marketing Management from Pace University, a BS in Marketing from the University of Maryland and is an active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Since joining Bravo in 2011, Kaplan has spearheaded innovative research studies and initiatives on topics including audience loyalty driving sales, the effectiveness of marketing messages across multiple screens, and advertiser ROI across the purchase funnel. Prior to Bravo, Kaplan was SVP of Product Leadership at The Nielsen Company where he contributed substantially to the development of the company's core research products that measure the impact of TV commercials and branded entertainment, and to the understanding and use of program engagement metrics. Kaplan holds a BA in Psychology from Cornell University’s College of Arts and Sciences where he was named a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
