PHILADELPHIA - April 1, 2014 - Sprout®, the first 24-hour preschool network, kicked off 2014 with a number 1 ranking among all kids networks in women 18-49 composition for the fifth consecutive quarter, with nearly a quarter of its total day audience (23 percent) represented by this demographic.

The Sunny Side Up Show, Sprout's live hosted daily morning show for preschoolers, celebrated its highest rated quarter ever among women 18-49,  highlighted by the show's 2000th episode.  The Sunny Side Up Show also recorded its highest rated audience among women 18-49 in history, on January 11.  In the show's first ever Oscar Weekend stunt in early March, Sprout welcomed Oscar the Grouch along with other special guests to The Sunny Side Up Show and saw audience gains across all key demographics compared to the prior month – led by an 18 percent gain in kids 2-5 delivery.

The first quarter of 2014 was the second best quarter for delivery among women 18-49 in Sprout's history.  Sprout saw a 5 percent audience increase among kids 2-5 and a 3 percent gain in households compared to fourth quarter 2013.  The growth was highlighted by the launch of its newest show, Zerby Derby, which debuted March 1 with a ratings increase of 23 percent from the February time period average. scored the highest concentration of unique visitors for adults 18-49 (58 percent) among the competitive set in February, outperforming Nick Jr. (47 percent), Disney Junior (39 percent) and PBS Kids (37 percent). In January, generated 938,000 monthly unique visitors, which was the second highest monthly traffic total in the website's history and highest since October 2011.
