KVDA Tech Ops Internship

As a Production Intern, you will learn the daily operations of a television news station while supporting our production and TechOps operations team. You'll have opportunities to gain practical experience with industry-standard broadcast technology and workflows. What You'll Learn Assist APC Directors during live newscast production and observe the coordination of live television broadcasts. Support producers, editors, and newsroom managers in creating and preparing content for broadcast. Learn professional media asset management, including ingesting, organizing, archiving, restoring, and managing digital media. Gain experience with newsroom file workflows and content management systems. Observe and collaborate with professionals across multiple departments, including Production, News, TechOps Operations, and Engineering. Participate in special projects and other learning opportunities that provide additional exposure to broadcast operations. What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in a professional television newsroom.
