Responsibilities Tell the market’s weather stories in a way that connects with and captivates viewers. Develop innovative and creative ways of presenting the daily weather story, emphasizing accuracy and hyper-local forecasting. Produce weather graphics and analyze data from the National Weather Service and other meteorological sources. Knowledge of MAX reality and producing 3-D models to integrate into creative storytelling. Use MAX Connect and MAX Reality on the field. Required to produce weather segments for other Telemundo and NBCU stations. Work with the weather team and producers to create complete coverage of weather events. Also prepare post forecasts for multiple news platforms in Spanish and English. • Use of social media daily and especially during severe events. Constantly update the weather for the Telemundo Las Vegas website. Live reporting and attendance at community and weather-related events will be needed. Daily social media posts, especially during severe weather events. MMJ duties may apply during the work week. Participate in the editorial meetings, be on time, and be prepared to contribute enterprise ideas to the producer team. Represent Telemundo Las Vegas in the community through events requiring the employee to MC. Other duties assigned by News Director.
