Noticias Telemundo 40 / KTLM is seeking a versatile, engaging, and newsroom-savvy News Anchor to join our team. This position is responsible for the on-air delivery of daily newscasts and for contributing high-quality journalism across all platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who excels in breaking news, thrives in a collaborative environment, and understands the demands of a modern, multi-platform newsroom. Responsibilities Anchor daily newscasts across television, streaming, and digital platforms, delivering accurate, engaging, and credible content. Present breaking news and special coverage, demonstrating strong ad-libbing skills and sound editorial judgment. Research, write, shoot, edit, and report original stories from the studio and field. Generate and pitch enterprise and community-focused story ideas and contribute actively to editorial meetings. Develop and maintain strong community contacts and sources to identify important and exclusive local stories. Write and produce content for TV, digital, social media, and streaming platforms. Collaborate closely with Producers, Reporters, Assignment Editors, Photographers, and News Managers on daily and special coverage. Maintain an active digital and community presence, including social media, station events, and public appearances. Uphold NBCUniversal’s values, news standards, and commitment to ethical journalism.
