Responsibilities Tell the market’s weather stories in a way that connects with and captivates viewers. Develop innovative and creative ways of presenting the daily weather story, emphasizing accuracy and hyper-local forecasting. Produce weather graphics and analyze data from the National Weather Service and other meteorological sources. Knowledge of MAX reality and producing 3-D models to integrate into creative storytelling. Use MAX Connect and MAX Reality on the field. When needed, it might be required to produce weather segments for other Telemundo and NBCU stations within the station group. Work with the weather team and producers to create complete coverage of weather events. Also prepare post-forecasts for multiple news platforms. Constantly update the weather for the Telemundo Dallas website Live reporting and attendance at community and weather-related events when needed. Daily social media posts, especially during severe weather events. Science-oriented story production and execution Participate in the editorial meetings, be on time, and be prepared to contribute enterprise ideas to the producer team. Represent Telemundo Dallas in the community through events requiring the employee to MC. Other duties assigned by the News Director.
