Page Program

About the Program

The NBCUniversal Page Program is a rotational learning and development program that gives early career talent a well-rounded experience along with unmatched exposure to the media industry. The program is designed to help prepare Page Program graduates for other early-career, entry level roles at the company.  Employment at NBCUniversal after program completion is a primary goal but not guaranteed.

The program is based out of New York, NY and Universal City, CA and considered an in-person learning and development experience. Pages have the opportunity to contribute to various teams in meaningful ways and gain unparalleled exposure to NBCU and the media industry. Pages get a wide look across the businesses and functions of NBCU as they complete 3 full-time assignments within their year and serve as Ambassadors of the Page Program and company throughout the year.

NBCU Pages are paid hourly at a rate of $20 per hour and are eligible for overtime. Additionally, Pages are eligible for a comprehensive health and wellness benefits plan, paid time off, paid company holidays and a stipend upon starting the program.

The Page Program and Early Careers team is committed to fostering a community rooted in inclusion, equity, curiosity and empathy, where all Pages feel they can succeed and belong.

Program Experience

Pages are immersed into the NBCUniversal culture and gain exposure to its vast portfolio by contributing to areas of the business including, but not limited to: Public Relations, Production & Development, Marketing, Business Development, Ad Sales and Digital. Pages can expect to be assigned 3-4 rotational assignments throughout the year in these areas of the business.

A unique element of the Page Program is the shared experience with a cohort and the Page community at large. Pages also have access to a wider network of support throughout their year and receive continuous performance feedback and coaching. There are also regularly scheduled learning and development opportunities including skill building labs and guest speaker events.

Onboarding Experience

Pages in both NY and LA will begin their Page year by going through a 2-week onboarding process to learn more about NBCUniversal as a business, and the Page Program as a whole. The onboarding experience is designed to help new Pages feel set up for success going into their first assignment. Incoming Pages are also assigned mentors to help familiarize themselves with the company and culture.

Business Assignments

Pages learn to fluently speak the language of NBCUniversal’s businesses - including how the parts of our portfolio work together, and how they contribute to the bigger picture. Assignments include rotations in functions like Ad Sales, Corporate Diversity and Content Distribution.

Consumer Assignments

Strengthen business communication skills by learning how NBCUniversal’s portfolio of brands speak to their audience. Assignments include rotations in functions like Marketing, Social Media, Public Relations and On-Air Promotions.

Content Assignments

Experience how NBCU creates various types of content in a hands-on setting. Pages support day to day production operations, assist with talent relations, learn the development process, complete research and aid in the production of digital content.

Graduation & Senior Ambassadorship

Upon successful completion of the Page Program experience, Pages become eligible to apply and interview for open roles across the NBCUniversal portfolio. This paid, post-graduation transition period is accompanied by additional projects and assignments to further enhance candidacy. Pages are provided guidance and support by the Page Program team and Early Career team throughout the interviewing and candidate review process.
