Role Purpose: The Patent Specialist resides within the Intellectual Property (IP) Innovation, Technology, and Policy team and supports NBCUniversal’s global patent program. Working closely with the team’s lawyers and administrative staff, the Patent Specialist will coordinate patent filings and inventor-related processes, maintain patent and document management systems, track deadlines and costs, and help improve operational workflows across the global patent program.

This position will provide legal support for a wide variety of software and related technology licenses, professional services arrangements, NDAs, and related transactions across NBCUniversal, including in support of corporate operations, information technology, human resources, and other corporate functions.

This leader is responsible for translating complex regulatory obligations into scalable, resilient, and engineering solutions enabling NBCUniversal. This role requires both deep technical and senior leadership with business acumen in the compliance and risk space.

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead Manager/Engineering Manager to grow out and lead a forward-deployed team of Machine learning engineers who will be building applications for a graphically intensive simulation platform. This role will serve as the central facilitator for platform director requests for engineers with technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Management: Steward the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the platform-deployed machine learning applications.

In this role, you will lead how Free Cash Flow (FCF) is shaped, analyzed, and communicated across NBCUniversal’s Filmed Entertainment segment. Reporting to the CFO of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group, you will drive cash flow strategy, partner with senior leaders across the Studios enterprise, and build a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Film cash flow landscape. This is a highly visible leadership role offering the opportunity to influence decision-making, develop talent, and play a central part in the financial strategy of a dynamic, evolving business.

NBCU has deployed SAP to run financial, logistics, and HR processes. SAP BPC is deployed to run the planning processes at an enterprise and division level. NBCU currently has 16 BPC solutions to support financial planning processes. NBCU is also on a Finance transformation journey that will result in most of the planning solutions moving to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). As the Business System Analysis Manager, you will be the bridge between finance strategy and technical execution.
