As a member of the NBC Sports Communications Department, the Director, Communications is responsible for leading and executing the communications strategy for NBC Sports’ coverage of the NBA and WNBA. It also supports coverage of other sports, particularly college basketball and the Olympics.

The role serves as a first line of support for Production that runs 24/7, both at our NBC Sports Facility (Stamford, CT) and our various broadcast remote locations.

The Production/Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for providing front-line broadcast engineering and technical support across multiple studios and control rooms within the Stamford Sports facility. The role involves supporting all broadcast systems and technology for live day-of-air programs, troubleshooting hardware and systems, complying with computer security policies, and managing projects that include system design, integration, and commissioning. This position requires a combination of maintenance and project management/system engineering skills.

Responsibilities: Manage departmental Mobile Unit Facilities and Technical Manager schedules across projects. Partner with NBC Remote Engineering and Tech Logistics to coordinate the movement of NBC assets and third-party rental equipment. Liaise with Remote Engineering to coordinate and track NBC-owned gear across different sites and properties.

As a Highlights Production Assistant, you are responsible for cutting highlights for NFL & College Football games plus College Basketball games.
