NBC Sports is looking for an experienced Transmission Operator to monitor and maintain Broadcast feeds and operations at their Stamford studio location. The Transmission Operator is a public facing representative of NBC Sports communicating and coordinating with multiple departments within the company and with outside providers. This includes fiber providers, technology vendors and internal and external clients. This position is responsible for acquiring and transporting contribution-based content as well as small project-based assignments within the department.

NBC Connecticut is looking for an Executive Producer to oversee all elements of news programs and daily OTT newscast, as well as help inspire and coach a talented, passionate staff. This position coordinates the content and presentation of broadcasts under the direction of the Assistant News Director and VP of News. Essential Functions: Assist VP of News, Assistant News Director and Managing Editor in managing the day-to-day news operation. Participate in daily planning meetings. Contribute ideas for news programming based on the NBC Connecticut News Strategy. Oversee show production.

The Production Events Manager position reports to the Director of Golf Corporate Events and will be responsible for managing NBC Sports Golf client events and projects on-site at golf events and at our home base (Stamford, CT).

This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration for College Football season (Mid-Late May to December) unless otherwise amended. As a Production Assistant, you are responsible for assisting production personnel in all phases of sports production for NBC’s College Football coverage.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. As a Production Coordiantor, you are an integral part of the GOLF Operations team reporting to the VP, Golf Operations. You are responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the assigned broadcast for remote GOLF events. In addition, as needed, you are expected to interface and collaborate with colleagues working in the Studio to help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.

The L1 Operator will be responsible for ensuring timely and reliable delivery of NBCU live and VOD content to the NBC OTT Platforms. The L1 Operator will provide real time monitoring and support for the delivery of NBCU content. Monitoring takes place through a combination of “eyes on glass” and a host of data aggregation tools within the Digital NOC.

The Content Merchandizing & Operations team is tasked with curating the Peacock content offering across all products and audience segments, including merchandising live events and related publishing operations. It is a 24/7 operation responsible for updating content based on performance, programming tactics and events unfolding in real time, working in coordination with the Video Operations, Product, Marketing and Customer Support teams in addition to other stakeholders.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 8 months between January 2024 – August 2024 or 1 month during Games Time, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. Responsible for assisting the Stamford Technical Facilities Scheduling team by scheduling NBC Olympics television broadcast technical facilities in the International Broadcast Centre in Paris.
