NBC Connecticut is looking for a content producer to collaborate with our team of exceptional journalists to create engaging and compelling content for our broadcast and digital platforms.

The Media Operations, Operations & Technology group is responsible for prepping content needed for domestic and international distribution as well as broadcast operations. This includes transcode, edit and delivery services to meet client fulfilment around the globe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Aside from supporting the day-to-day distribution of linear and non-linear content, this position becomes integral to the success of high-profile network stunts and events, which have included the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, and the Superbowl in the past.

The NBCU Operations & Technology Media Operations group is responsible for international and domestic media prep and distribution. This includes ingest, transcode, edit, and delivery services to meet client fulfillment needs around the globe. This role is heavily focused on file-based digital workflows supporting post-production Media Operations. This is not a production-based role. Responsibilities: This Media Operations Analyst position is responsible for providing operational and technical support for the Global Media Operations team and clients across the globe.

Reporting to the CFO, NBC Sports, the VP, FP&A is a key leadership role on the NBC Sports finance team, responsible for all financial planning and reporting activities across marquee properties including NBC Sports, NBC Olympics, Sunday Night Football, and the NBA. The role provides the unique opportunity for extensive visibility across NBC Sports’ properties, with collaboration across Business Development, Sports’ programming and production, Ad Sales, Research and Corporate FP&A teams.

The Executive Assistant will provide support to NBC Sports executive leaders. Responsibilities: Administrative duties for this role include managing travel and expenses; coordinating/managing calendars; planning meetings; and attending and taking notes for meetings Coordination between multiple internal departments and external partners.

This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6 - 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. You are responsible for the support of our various Production units within NBC Sports. The role serves as a first line of support for Production that runs 24/7.
