NBCUniversal’s Network Engineering group within the Operations & Technology organization has an opening for a Staff Network Engineer based at our NBC Sports facility in Stamford, CT. The Staff Network Engineer will work within a dedicated team of network engineers tasked with building reliable and scalable network infrastructure for NBCUniversal’s Sports broadcast and media production facilities. The selected candidate will provide subject matter expertise on IP-based networking and support critical escalated incidents related to NBC Sports production events.

The Production/ Broadcast Engineer will report to the Sr. Director, Production Engineering. This person will provide front line broadcast engineering and technical support across several studios and control rooms.  The main duties of this position include supporting all broadcast systems and technology within the Stamford Sports facility for day of air live programs, troubleshooting of broadcast hardware and systems, complying with computer security policies as well as handling a project load which includes system design, integration, and system commissioning.

The Broadcast Engineer - Post-Production will report to the Sr. Director, Production Engineering. Responsibilities: Responsible for the smooth operation of Post-Production for the facility acting as front-line support, trouble shooting and technical diagnosis. Responsible for confirming that equipment used in the Post-production process works properly. Works with external providers to resolve technical and workflow issues with provided equipment and systems. Implementation of a routine preventative maintenance program, including software and hardware updates.

This is a part-time project/limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. As a Freelance Production Assistant, you are responsible for assisting production personnel in the Golf studio.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial management of key areas of NBC’s production of the Olympic Games as well as Sports & Olympics on air talent. The manager will be an integral partner with Olympics Production and Operations team in the budgeting, reporting, analysis, payment and controllership of their budgets. They will become an expert in all matters regarding SCORE reporting of position metrics, spend, cost trends and variance analysis of games time travel and pay.

The Technical Manager will provide front-line management of personnel, facilities, equipment, operations and technology for a customer driven production operations group. Coordinate all technical and logistical requirements prior to air and then in the control rooms to ensure that all technical aspects of the production go as planned.

As the Manager of Environment, Health & Safety, you will primarily support the NBC Sports Stamford & Monroe facilities and support domestic and international Remote Events. You will support the broader EHS department management, and production teams, as assigned, to ensure compliance with all NBCUniversal, federal, state, local and/or international environmental, occupational safety and health policies, rules and regulations as applicable. Support is provided via regular on-site attendance at each location as well as remotely from Stamford, CT.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. We are looking for a motivated engineer comfortable functioning within a fast-paced environment to support systems for Remote Live Sports production onsite or at-home base. This position is responsible for building, designing, configuring, and maintaining systems both in preparation of and during live events, such as Sunday Night Football, Golf Tournaments, World Cup and the Olympics.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. The EVS Operator will be required to perform multiple job functions. This person will work with the production department during live shows and live/live to tape productions. This person should have the ability to perform fundamental and advanced EVS operations. This includes basic editing, building & playing back playlists often while supporting a live show.
