We are looking for a Staff Cyber Security Engineer to be part of our NBCU Security Architecture team, focused on emerging technologies including AI. This Staff Cyber Security Engineer will partner with the various NBCUniversal businesses, enterprise IT, and Cyber Security organization to ensure technology is designed and deployed securely and aligned with Cyber Security and enterprise technology strategies. This individual will function as a security subject matter expert with broad knowledge across various domains, embedded with engineering teams delivering solutions for NBCUniversal.

The Operational Excellence (OE) team is responsible for the technical and process health of the Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) consumer products business. The Cyber Security Manager is a critical member of the NBC Universal Cyber Security organization, responsible for executing and contributing to the Cyber Security strategy and overseeing operational engagement with key leaders across Studios, Film, Television (Episodic), Operations & Technology, Media Services, and enterprise-wide business solution teams.

“What would you say you do here?” Provide video conferencing technical support. Investigate and raise issues to senior team members when needed. Serve as on-site technical support for cross-site, or executive presentations and events. Setup and operate audio-visual equipment including but not limited to speakers, microphones, wireless microphones, mixing boards, amplifiers, projectors, video cameras, computers, and laptops. Coordinate/perform preventive maintenance room checks.

“What would you say you do here?” Sets up, installs, and relocates computer workstations, desktops, laptops and other technology hardware. Performs software installation deskside and using remote tools. Assists with organization and cabling of technology equipment, computer setups. Conducts daily physical inventory of assets and updates to the Asset tracking Database. Ensures assets are tracked and cataloged. Provides incremental daily ticket updates of ongoing work.

NBCUniversal Cyber Security is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Cybersecurity Data Systems team. This team builds and maintains scalable data platforms and services that power advanced threat detection, analytics, and security operations across the enterprise. You’ll lead a team of software and data engineers focused on ingesting, transforming, and operationalizing high-volume security data.

The Senior Security Manager role, based in London, offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated team supporting NBCUniversal and NBC News International across the EMEA region. This position requires versatility, as you will operate confidently in both corporate and newsroom environments as well as in austere or hostile settings. You will be responsible for managing a broad range of security activities - from overseeing risk assessments and security for high-profile events to providing specialist support for news operations in challenging environments.
