Role Purpose: The Patent Specialist resides within the Intellectual Property (IP) Innovation, Technology, and Policy team and supports NBCUniversal’s global patent program. Working closely with the team’s lawyers and administrative staff, the Patent Specialist will coordinate patent filings and inventor-related processes, maintain patent and document management systems, track deadlines and costs, and help improve operational workflows across the global patent program.

Role Purpose: The Counsel, Intellectual Property position within the Copyright & Trademark team will provide strategic legal guidance and oversight on IP issues arising from content production, brand development, and global expansion initiatives. This role will have a particular focus on supporting Universal Destinations & Experiences, including consumer products-related matters. They will serve as a key advisor to senior business leaders and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to protect and enhance NBCUniversal’s IP assets worldwide.

The output from your work will be compatible with popular 3D platforms like Unreal and Unity, or as standalone 3D models. You’ll work closely with the Pipeline and AI/ML teams to plan and improve the way this 3D data flows through our production process, helping it fit well with game environments.

Define and drive the mobile product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Partner with Design, Technology, Production, and Business leaders to align priorities and product direction. Ensure mobile is treated as a first-class experience throughout development and represented in planning, development, and delivery decisions. Translate product goals into clear requirements, priorities, milestones, and success metrics. Drive product decisions through user research, analytics, testing, and iteration.
