Matchbox Pictures is looking for a scripted development intern to be based in either its Sydney or Melbourne office. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in a career in scripted development across genres; a love and understanding of television drama is essential. The selected candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational abilities as well as the capability to multi-task and prioritise with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in administration, production, research, script assessment will be highly regarded.

Matchbox’s BALA team is involved in a wide variety of legal and business affairs matters relating to the development, production and financing of television programs on the slate of Matchbox Pictures and Tony Ayres Productions. Assisting in the management of the company’s Screenrights registrations and related issues. Assisting in the management and data entry for BALA team deal trackers.
