The Engineering Experience team at NBCU is defining and building a paved road of tools and systems to accelerate and optimize our software development teams and practices. As a member of our Cloud Enablement & Acceleration FinOps team, you will design, implement, and manage robust data pipelines to develop dashboards that deliver actionable insights into our infrastructure costs and utilization patterns.

The Cloud Enablement and Acceleration team plays a critical role around the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Cloud Control Planes for Azure, GCP and AWS. The Control Planes consists of account / subscription / project factories with tooling, automation, and guardrails to help teams utilize the cloud in an easy and safe manner extending to governance, identity management, network enablement and observability of the clouds.

Project Keystone will be a multi-year endeavor, driving NBCUniversal’s transformation goal of building a globally standardized, flexible, and data-driven business platform that enables NBCU to make better and faster decisions based on real time insights. The Data Management and BI Team is seeking a Sr. Staff Data Engineer to join our team. We build data pipelines to land, profile, and store multiple internal & external datasets. We also build applications that surface this data to support our business partners’ strategic decision-making. We're an AWS shop that uses open-source technologies including Scala, Python, Pandas, Spark, Hive, and Postgres as well as BI tools, such as Tableau and MicroStrategy. We work in a very agile environment, where product specifications are flexible and often change rapidly over time.
