The Distribution & Business Development Intern plays a pivotal role in supporting Distribution and Business Development at CNBC International and will learn how to strategically build and monetise CNBC’s arsenal of intellectual property. You will be exposed to a broad range of functions, such as in-house partnerships, new business acquisition, market research and analysis, account management support and affiliate marketing. You will also work with the wider Commercial team to support crucial day-to-day content operations across broadcast and clip licensing.

Role Summary: The Universal Studio Group (USG) Strategy and Business Development department is a highly visible function that works closely with USG senior management. The group works on a wide range of strategic initiatives including identifying and assessing key growth opportunities, operating efficiencies and investments on behalf of the television studio group. Reporting to the EVP of Strategy & Business Development, the VP role is a unique, critical, and highly visible one at USG.

The Manager of Franchise Development will be responsible for growing current Golf franchises (i.e. Collegiate Golf, Good Good Golf) while identifying and developing new opportunities (both with and without rights holders) as partners. This role will also have a strong business development acumen to prospect external partners and secure revenues to allow projects to develop further.

This Business Solutions Consultant role is a key member of the Technical Operations organization and focuses on building and supporting the reporting and analytics environment for the NBCUniversal Studio Group. This individual partners with stakeholders across all Studio functions to identify analytics needs that will optimize the performance of the business and enable data-driven decision-making. This role also requires strong knowledge of modern data warehouse and business intelligence platforms in order to define and create reporting and advanced analytics solutions.

Reporting to the Vice President, Retail Development, the Director, Retail Development will identify and drive opportunities supporting NBCUniversal brands within the Apparel & Home lines of business at Walmart and Sam’s Club.
