NBC Sports is looking for an experienced Transmission Operator to monitor and maintain Broadcast feeds and operations at their Stamford studio location. The Transmission Operator is a public facing representative of NBC Sports communicating and coordinating with multiple departments within the company and with outside providers. This includes fiber providers, technology vendors and internal and external clients. This position is responsible for acquiring and transporting contribution-based content as well as small project-based assignments within the department.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. As a Production Coordiantor, you are an integral part of the GOLF Operations team reporting to the VP, Golf Operations. You are responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the assigned broadcast for remote GOLF events. In addition, as needed, you are expected to interface and collaborate with colleagues working in the Studio to help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.

The L1 Operator will be responsible for ensuring timely and reliable delivery of NBCU live and VOD content to the NBC OTT Platforms. The L1 Operator will provide real time monitoring and support for the delivery of NBCU content. Monitoring takes place through a combination of “eyes on glass” and a host of data aggregation tools within the Digital NOC.

The Content Merchandizing & Operations team is tasked with curating the Peacock content offering across all products and audience segments, including merchandising live events and related publishing operations. It is a 24/7 operation responsible for updating content based on performance, programming tactics and events unfolding in real time, working in coordination with the Video Operations, Product, Marketing and Customer Support teams in addition to other stakeholders.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. The Video Operator operates camera settings and color correction equipment to provide studio set & talent video continuity and technical quality for air. Also, prepares and tests studio video feeds and patches studio cameras.

The Production/ Broadcast Engineer will report to the Sr. Director, Production Engineering. This person will provide front line broadcast engineering and technical support across several studios and control rooms.  The main duties of this position include supporting all broadcast systems and technology within the Stamford Sports facility for day of air live programs, troubleshooting of broadcast hardware and systems, complying with computer security policies as well as handling a project load which includes system design, integration, and system commissioning.

The Broadcast Engineer - Post-Production will report to the Sr. Director, Production Engineering. Responsibilities: Responsible for the smooth operation of Post-Production for the facility acting as front-line support, trouble shooting and technical diagnosis. Responsible for confirming that equipment used in the Post-production process works properly. Works with external providers to resolve technical and workflow issues with provided equipment and systems. Implementation of a routine preventative maintenance program, including software and hardware updates.

The Technical Manager will provide front-line management of personnel, facilities, equipment, operations and technology for a customer driven production operations group. Coordinate all technical and logistical requirements prior to air and then in the control rooms to ensure that all technical aspects of the production go as planned.
