NBCUniversal’s Network Engineering group within the Operations & Technology organization has an opening for a Network Engineer based at NBC’s core production locations in Universal City or Denver locations. The engineer will work within a dedicated team of network and firewall engineers tasked with building reliable and scalable network infrastructure for NBCUniversal’s broadcast and media production facilities.

The Manager of Post Support Engineering will lead a team of engineers responsible for supporting our cloud-based and on-prem environments for NBCUniversal O&T. The core responsibilities include (but are not limited to) overseeing day-to-day Post Production ticket escalation across multiple cloud platforms, ensuring all staff is documenting and is trained on new processes and technology. This position requires a thorough understanding of Avid, Adobe, Resolve, encoding and various asset management systems.

POSITION SUMMARY Provides technical management, inclusive of budget and schedule, for an attraction or attractions under an area of responsibility. Responsible for the successful specification, bid/award, design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of Ride and/or Show systems, to include Ride Control or Show Control Systems. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES   Manages in-field installation, test and adjustment of scenic systems to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

POSITION SUMMARY Contributes to technical management, inclusive of budget and schedule, for an attraction or attractions under an area of responsibility. Responsible for supporting the successful specification, bid/award, design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of Ride and/or Show systems, to include Network Systems. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES   Provides engineering technical (calculation, design, drafting, research) support to the Ride/Show teams.

JOB SUMMARY Oversees and manages the Architectural and Engineering design and construction administration effort within a specific area of a project. Also manages the resources, finances, and schedule of that project. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Attends weekly project meetings. Responsible for the coordination between the Architecture and Engineering vendors and the ride/show vendors including the development of all preliminary final facility impacts. Monitors construction in the field including identifying and resolving discrepancies between the construction and drawings and/or design intent.
