This position reports to the Executive Producer. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about news, loves breaking news and has a creative vision for crafting live programs. You’ll work closely with producers, creative services, to create innovative, up-to-the-minute content that resonates with our viewers.

The Finishing Producer (FP) works closely with Post-Production clients and members of the Post-Production team to orchestrate the successful finishing and delivery of spots daily. The FP will be the internal resource for editors and clients to assist in translating work orders so that requests are completed in a timely manner. The incumbent will support editors, producers and audio engineers on projects as needed.

Work with the Show Director and/or Creative Director to support the generation of visuals via sketches, storyboards, photo studies, and referential concept renderings to communicate preliminary design ideas for pitch presentation packets and distribution amongst other project stakeholders and partners. Compilation of the production design packets to convey the full scope of work through conceptual renderings, groundplans, elevations, color elevations, material and finish specifications, fabrication method suggestions, references, documentation, notes, and callouts.

The primary role of the Associate Post Engineer is to support Telemundo's Post-Production environment and work alongside Post Engineering teams throughout NBCUniversal. Key responsibilities encompass managing and addressing client requests, troubleshooting back-end services, and support new and existing workflows. A basic understanding of Avid and Adobe products, on-prem and cloud virtualization, and PCoIP technology is essential. This position requires you to be on-site and involves working nights and weekends on a rotational basis.

Reviews internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggests changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs. Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications. Implement and manage serverless solutions (e.g., AWS Lambda, EMR Serverless, Kafka, SNS, SQS, Athena etc.) as part of the application architecture.
