KTAZ Telemundo in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Multiplatform News Producer who can create news that appeals to both traditional Broadcast and new media audiences. The Multiplatform News Producer will be responsible for successfully coordinating and executing newscasts, special programs, and digital content.

The Executive News Producer (EP), Multimedia is a senior content leader responsible for editorial direction, multiplatform execution, and team supervision of daily newscasts and news programs. Reporting to the Vice President of News, the EP leads producers, oversees rundowns and show pacing, and ensures the production of compelling, accurate, and community-focused content across broadcast, digital, streaming, and social platforms.

Key member of the on-air production team at Phoenix, AZ with multiple duties. Technical Directing live as well as recorded programs, segments, spots, promos, and commercials utilizing ROSS Overdrive. Ability to build splits, boxes, and multi-layered effects on the switcher level. Ability to perform audio duties and show mixing as needed. Ability to perform ingest and signal acquisition duties as needed. Ability to perform editing duties as needed. Maintain inventory and perform daily housekeeping of all switcher effects and banks. Maintain strict station quality standards.

This position will be responsible for growing revenue across NBCUniversal Local OTT and digital platforms, including Peacock TV, NBC / Telemundo Full Episode Player, and Linear TV including Telemundo and Telexitos. The AE will develop an understanding of our ad products, leverage tentpole events like the Olympics, Super Bowl, and World Cup, and have solid consultative selling skills to be able to best develop solutions to meet client needs. New business, revenue closure, account relationship building, customer satisfaction, and product implementation success are key responsibilities.

Telemundo Arizona seeks an individual with a comprehensive understanding of television news production, outstanding writing and verbal communication skills, and experience in on-camera reporting. The candidate must also be able to work with news production and non-linear editing systems. Responsibilities This individual will manage shooting, lighting, writing, editing daily stories, and gathering material to build the story. Be able to set up, work, and manage live shots independently. Write, produce, and present fair, balanced, unbiased, and correct news and feature stories.
