PLEASE NOTE: This is a short-term position with an estimated duration of 6 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. CNBC is looking for a Segment Producer for Closing Bell. In this newscast, you will be an integral part of covering the most significant financial news stories of the day.

The Markets and News Producer is core to the CNBC News Desk. The producer is akin to a first alert system, elevating news from all corners. The producer monitors wire services, social media and speeches and works closely with all CNBC entities to make sure that all time sensitive material is on CNBC TV. The role involves working closely with the News Desk Editors, the Breaking News Desk, the Markets team, show producers and the digital news team at all times to ensure coordination and headline sharing between newsgathering groups.

The Research Analyst will conduct background research that informs both interviews with company executives and written opinion segments for CNBC’s Mad Money program. The individual will also contribute to Mad Money host Jim Cramer’s other programming, including the live Squawk on the Street program and the CNBC Investing Club subscription newsletter and member program.

CNBC has an opportunity for a News Editor responsible for driving news flow and handling a variety of news assignment desk operations. What you'll do: Manage news flow on the assignment desk including breaking news, source reporting, keeping track of incremental story updates, working with on air control room teams, cnbc.com counterparts, reporters and field producers. Coordinate reporters, field producers and other personnel covering assigned news stories.

CNBC is looking for an experienced Tape Associate Producer for Mad Money Responsibilities: Straight cut video and work with editors on cutting compelling video Assist producers with desktop editing Gather elements Viewing all video and ensure quality before air Explaining edit instructions in detail on script Collaborate with the social media team to create compelling content Pitching story ideas (day-of, next day, futures) Curate and edit archival footage, creating cohesive and engaging narratives that celebrate the history and milestones of the show.

The Field Producer brainstorms and pitches ideas, research topics and works closely with reporter(s) to advance stories, break news and produce segments both in studio and in the field. What you’ll do: Working both independently and with reporters/anchors to produce original business news content, primarily for broadcast and additionally for digital and social. Production responsibilities may include research, conducting interviews, writing and editing, field producing and overseeing editing. Pitching story ideas and working on assigned stories developed by the editorial planning team.
