The Hair & Make Up Project Manager is responsible for leading the Hair & Make up department for MSNBC, which is located in both our New York and DC locations. This role will manage the scheduling of the artists to ensure appropriate coverage and support is provided for our on-air talent and guests. Responsibilities: Monitor Production processes and facilitate schedule changes due to breaking news. Manage staff and freelance employees locally and DC bureau locations. Responsible for the recruiting, hiring and training of personnel.

MSNBC is looking for an experienced Segment Producer for The Weekend: Primetime 6-9pm with hosts Ayman Mohyeldin, Antonia Hylton, Catherine Rampell, and Elise Jordan. This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East. Responsibilities: Research, report and write daily segments. Determine video and sound for assigned segments. Communicate daily story development with senior producer. Be in control room during airing of live segment. Help maintain social media presence of the show. Take part in editorial planning. Pitch story ideas.
