Producer/Editor, Creative Content, NBC Boston

The Producer/Editor of Creative Content is responsible for producing daily content for use on all platforms (social, digital, television). As part of the Original Content team, they will be tasked with creating engaging content through planning and executing all aspects of assigned projects. They must have expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop, as well as a modern videography and photography aesthetic. This person must be highly conceptual and proactive in seeking assignments. They must be able to own these projects: seeing them through from beginning to end -- all the way to delivery. The ability to create high-end content quickly is a must while also maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Having an eye for adapting content to meet ever-changing consumption habits will be essential.    Job Responsibilities: Work cross-functionally with department heads to target daily priorities and fulfill their daily content objectives.  Pitch creative concepts to stretch the bounds of the group's output.  Actively participate in daily content meetings and tailor content based on department goals  Work closely with other departments to develop and maintain templates that can be used for breaking news and quick content creation.  Maintain close interdepartmental relationships to ensure consistent understanding and execution of long-term business objectives.  Take art direction from the creative department and retain consistent style and branding with respect to episodic content.  Work with Sales team and clients to produce and execute high-quality integrations and commercial productions  Ideate and create high-end content across all platforms from start to finish as requested by internal clients.  Use advanced techniques to shoot, edit, and create engaging content.  Flexible scheduling based on content needs.
