Freelance Digital Content Producer, NBC Sports Boston

OVERVIEW NBC Sports Boston is seeking a Freelance Content Producer to join our Digital team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing, editing and managing content on NBC Sports Boston’s digital platforms; using creative tools to disseminate content on our website, app and social media accounts; and helping design and execute content plans around tentpole events. RESPONSIBILITIES Create and manage timely, relevant written content around Boston sports by monitoring news sources and identifying key storylines. Content creation includes writing enticing headlines, selecting proper complementary content such as photos and video, and crafting social media messaging that engages our audience. Collaborate with NBC Sports Boston’s multi-platform Content Group to produce articles that pair with exclusive video content such as linear segments, podcast episodes and original videos. Assist in the editing of all content from NBC Sports Boston’s team of Content Producers and Insiders to ensure consistent and appropriate voice, tone and presentation. Additional Information: This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 4-6 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
