Sr. Producer

The Senior Weekend Producer for Noticias Telemundo is responsible for leading the production of Noticiero Telemundo Fin de Semana. This role involves identifying newsworthy stories, developing and executing rundowns, actively participating in editorial meetings, long-term planning, and writing scripts for the newscast. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. They must be able to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and react quickly to breaking news. In addition to weekend responsibilities, the producer will also contribute to weekday newscasts under the guidance of newsroom leadership. Collaboration is essential, as the role requires close coordination with the news team as well as departments such as production, graphics, and promotions. Weekend availability is a must, along with schedule flexibility for early morning and night shifts as well as for breaking news and special coverage.
