Production Operation Specialist

We are looking for a Production Operations Specialist to join the Technology team in San Antonio TX, supporting Telemundo 60 KVDA. As a Production Operations Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for preparing and executing the operation of the automated production control system (APC) for live and recorded television broadcasts. Job Responsibilities: Operate control room systems and automation, using templates to streamline technical directing, audio mixing, robotics, live/remote segment cut-ins, video playback, graphics insertion, and switching. Edit stories and clips to ensure high-quality, engaging content that aligns with production standards. Give direction and timing to talent and other technicians during broadcasts and studio productions. Develop and maintain system documentation for operational and troubleshooting purposes. Perform quality control of incoming and outgoing video/audio feeds. Push finalized media to on-air playback systems and confirm correct operation. Monitor and manage media storage capacity, perform regular maintenance, and purge outdated files Performs other control room and studio related duties as assigned. Required onsite. This position is required to be performed full time onsite from an NBCUniversal designated work site.
