The VLD Operator will work in a supported environment to perform the job duties of Video Operator, Robotic Camera Operator and Lighting Director. Responsibilities: Overseeing all aspects of production of Nightly News broadcast pieces including booking, writing, ordering or making graphics, gathering elements, editing, and producing both long-lead feature stories and day-of crash pieces. Must be able to edit pieces completely on their own, and shoot in the field on occasion.
