The Role: The Counsel, Compliance will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the company’s ethics and compliance program. This is a high-impact role responsible for partnering across the business to advise on compliance risks, support key compliance initiatives, and foster a culture of integrity and accountability. The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic, business-oriented legal professional with deep expertise in compliance, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. This role will provide strategic and practical legal counsel to the Company’s Human Resources professionals and business executives regarding labor relations matters, employment and benefits laws and support the overall employment legal group, as well as negotiate and draft employment agreements with executives and on- and off-air News and Sports talent.
