The Film Music department serves the creative and production needs of Universal Pictures’ films and soundtracks across all divisions of the company. Our dynamic department oversees all aspects of music for the studio which includes creative services, licensing, business affairs and legal, publishing, song and score production, soundtracks, marketing, etc. We are the in-house music team for our diverse film and soundtrack portfolio which encompasses Universal, DreamWorks Animation, Illumination Entertainment, Focus Features, Amblin, Blumhouse, and various other partners.

DreamWorks Feature - Compositing Developer

Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?” Leads the technical creation of Nuke gizmos and tools required for the final look. Authors, maintains and improves show-specific compositing tools within Nuke for artists. Supports, advises, educates and mentors artists around proper compositing workflows. Advises on and supports show Nuke templates, standards and workflows. Creates and maintains documentation on workflows, tools, process and procedures for compositing aspects related to the show.

The Production Designer, having project design and installation experience, is responsible for leading a multi-disciplined design team in the development, documentation, coordination, and technical execution of the creative intent for all ride and show related elements and areas. Responsible for leading the development of virtual and physical models, drawings and drawing packages depicting design and art direction for all show and scenic components of a project through oversight of vendor efforts and internal resources.

You will be responsible for the following: Reversioning existing promos for linear and Subscription Video on Demand ('SVOD') channels. Creating filler content to contribute to the fill of promotional space in our commercial breaks. Creating promos and assets for linear and SVOD affiliates. Mastering promos/content for QC and delivery. Contributing to brainstorms and research on potential local productions. The Senior Producer, Show is responsible for overall management and leadership of the Creative team, project documentation including, but not limited to Deliverables Lists, Request for Proposal (RFP) Documents, Attraction Design Drawings, Attraction Scope, management of project folder structure, document control to the architects and vendors as well as all other pertinent records. Supervises the Associate Producer and or Producer with managing the show design team efforts and individual vendor deliverables.
