NBCUniversal seeks a dynamic Senior Manager, State and Local Public Policy to support the company’s state and local government affairs efforts. The Senior Manager will be focused on identifying and analyzing legislation, policies, regulations, and policy programs aligned with or harmful to the company's strategic corporate and/or business interests. The Senior Manager will actively contribute to shaping policy during the legislative process and will contribute to building trusted relationships with government officials to lead to meaningful legislative outcomes.

The Business & Legal Affairs Department supports the various business units of NBCU Telemundo Enterprises principally in the areas of content acquisition, development, production, licensing and distribution. The Business & Legal Affairs Paralegal will support the SVP, Business & Legal Affairs and other attorneys in the department. Responsibilities Completing form agreements, schedules, and other documentation under an attorney’s supervision.

The Associate Counsel/Counsel, Intellectual Property position within the Copyright & Trademark team will provide strategic legal guidance and oversight on IP issues arising from content production, brand development, and global expansion initiatives. This role will have a particular focus on supporting the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group. They will play a pivotal role advising business and legal divisions and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to protect and enhance NBCUniversal’s IP assets worldwide.

Role Purpose: The Sr. Counsel, Intellectual Property will serve as the primary point of contact for all IP matters for an innovative new initiative at NBCUniversal. This role requires a strong background advising on complex technology-related IP matters and transactions, fluency across a broad range of IP issues, and the ability to work collaboratively with legal, engineering, business, and other NBCUniversal teams to support the rapid development and growth of the business.

The Associate Counsel of Business & Legal Affairs position is an attorney position and will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Counsel – Business & Legal Affairs of Telemundo Network and other attorneys in the department focusing on corporate transactions. Responsibilities: Under supervision of a senior attorney, draft, review, negotiate, and interpret an extensive range of agreements, including, but not limited to, sponsorship, collaboration, donations, influencers, technology, services, and procurement-related agreements.

The Business Analytics & Research (BAR) group is part of NBCUniversal’s Intellectual Property Analytics, Operations, and Technology (IPAOT) team responsible for supporting NBCUniversal’s content globally. The BAR team combines data science, economics, consumer research, and business analytics to understand how audiences discover and consume content, quantify the impact of piracy on NBCUniversal businesses, evaluate the effectiveness of content protection efforts, and identify emerging risks in the rapidly evolving digital media ecosystem. Role Purpose: The Patent Specialist resides within the Intellectual Property (IP) Innovation, Technology, and Policy team and supports NBCUniversal’s global patent program. Working closely with the team’s lawyers and administrative staff, the Patent Specialist will coordinate patent filings and inventor-related processes, maintain patent and document management systems, track deadlines and costs, and help improve operational workflows across the global patent program.

This position will provide legal support for a wide variety of software and related technology licenses, professional services arrangements, NDAs, and related transactions across NBCUniversal, including in support of corporate operations, information technology, human resources, and other corporate functions.
