NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 San Diego internships provide students with real world experience and exposure to working in the television news industry. Internships at NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 are paid. Course credit is optional.

Based in Miami, Telemundo produces and distributes premium Spanish-language news content to U.S. Hispanics and audiences around the world. Its flagship nightly news program is Noticias Telemundo. Telemundo Stations Group consists of 30 local television stations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Execute precise coding and technical operations for NBC and Telemundo broadcasts in San Diego utilizing the Ross Overdrive Automated Production Control environment and/or a range of manual processes, ensuring optimal performance across multi-channel platforms 365 days a year. Demonstrate proficiency in operating Audio, Video, Editing, and Graphics playback systems, maintaining the highest standards of technical quality at all times. Provide authoritative direction to talent and other production crew members, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of broadcasts.

As a News Producer for NBC, you will be responsible for the creation of a daily newscast. This role may also work in support of other newscasts or our website by researching stories, writing copy and editing video for both broadcast and digital. This role will most likely be an early morning shift in support of our AM newscasts.
