Facilities Engineer, NBC and Telemundo San Diego

We are looking for a Facility Engineer to join the Technology & Operations team in San Diego, CA, supporting KNSD and KUAN. The Facility Engineer reports to the Director of Technology and is responsible for performing support and maintenance functions for the facility and other building needs by partnering with Technology, Operations, News, Finance and Human Resources Management to ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety regulation in the facility as well as day to day facilities operations support including HVAC, Electrical, Janitorial, Parking, Construction, Security, Deliveries and other building needs. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for compliance and operation of facility including building code requirements and permitting, electrical and fire sprinkler systems, HVAC and BMS systems and building alarms systems. Environmental, Health and Safety lead which ensures regulatory and non-regulatory requirements are routinely performed, recorded, and enforced. Responsible for coordinating with clients, construction crews, vendors, city officials and deliveries that need access to facility Provide purchasing assistance with entering orders in accounting system Provide basic facility support to ensure facility is properly maintained along with keeping building documentation updated. Perform regular site inspections for safety and aesthetics with service providers, property managers, and visitors to ensure proper building maintenance and functionality is consistent with Company EHS requirements and audit findings.
