The Versant Operations & Technology Media Operations group is responsible for international and domestic media prep and distribution. This includes ingest, transcode, edit, and delivery services to meet client fulfillment needs around the globe. NOTE: This role is heavily focused on file-based digital workflows supporting post-production Media Operations. This is not a production-based role.

Technical Operations is an organization within NBCUniversal providing technical and operational services across the complete NBCUniversal content management, fulfillment and distribution ecosystem. We ensure that each of our networks, shows and films are reliably delivered to every screen around the world 24/7/365. We manage a best-in-class operation, leading the industry with our scalable, reliable, geo-diverse operation. The Technical Operations’ team in Stamford, CT manages playout and monitoring for NBCUniversal’s Domestic Cable Sports, News, and Entertainment channels.

About Platform Distribution & Partnerships: Platform Distribution and Partnerships is a division of NBCUniversal's media group responsible for the distribution and monetization of the company’s multi-billion-dollar linear and streaming services portfolio to pay-tv providers, NBC broadcast affiliates, consumer technology platforms and devices, and consumer brands. A key revenue-generator, the division is comprised of content distribution, affiliate relations and strategic partnerships across NBC, Peacock, Bravo, Telemundo and various FAST channels.

Responsibilities: Maintain and manipulate on-air playlists, execute program/commercial/marketing changes, and support live-event and contingency workflows using cutting-edge software like SNELL Morpheus and Amagi. Execute seamless program, commercial, and marketing changes and provide support for live events and contingency workflows. Take ownership of commercial integration, ensuring flawless rolling of commercial breaks during both taped and live programming.
