Facilities Assets Manager
NBCUniversal is seeking a Facilities Asset Manager to lead asset management data, workflows, and reporting within Operations & Technology. This role oversees facilities systems best practices, supervises the Asset Coordinator, and partners with WCSO Operations Site Leads to support asset management through the company’s Integrated Workplace Management System. The position also supports facilities asset management for offsite domestic and international locations. What You’ll Do: Manage NBCUniversal’s Strategic Asset Management program, including asset standards, data governance, preventive maintenance programs, and operational activation of new projects from construction to operations. Maintain the asset database within the Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS/CMMS), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and lifecycle management from planning through decommissioning. Enforce asset data governance standards (e.g., ISO 55000), maintain metadata and naming conventions, and lead audits to ensure compliance with internal, regulatory, and safety standards. Partner with Operations, Capital Planning, Construction, Engineering, and Finance teams across NBCU sites to support asset information accuracy, PM effectiveness, and long-range planning initiatives. Support teams with onboarding new sites and establishing asset management standards and processes. Develop asset inventories, commissioning, tagging, SOPs, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality and value of the asset management program. Maintain preventive maintenance programs, critical equipment reporting, and asset performance trends; identify risks, escalate issues, and support asset refresh and deferred maintenance prioritization. Support capital planning and reinvestment decisions through analysis of Facility Condition Assessments (FCA), historical work order data, and asset performance metrics. Assist teams with CMMS/IWMS configuration, reporting, dashboards, user access, training, and system enhancements. Inventory equipment in the field while working to continuously improve the quality and completeness of the asset management program.
