Operations Technician (part-time) NBC/Telemundo San Diego

Provide day-to-day Control Room production operation for NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 in San Diego, including technical support for broadcasts on multi-channel platforms 365 days a year. This is an entry-level, part-time, vacation fill-in position averaging fewer than 25 hours per week, with opportunity for advancement. Job Responsibilities: Coding and technical execution of local news and programming using the Ross Video’s Overdrive Automated Production Control environment and the Dalet’s Galaxy newsroom computer system. Technically produce broadcasts using a range of manual and automated processes. Operate robotic cameras, audio, graphic and video playback servers/devices. Provide direction to talent and other production crew members. Responsible for the ultimate technical quality of newscasts and other productions. Additional duties as needed/assigned.
