VP, Sales Liaison, GAS (m/w/d)

ROLE OVERVIEW The role of VP, Sales Liaison, GAS will drive revenue and maximize value for NBCU’s current and future content slates as well as its First Run and Library TV series, documentaries, News, Kids & Family and Sports programming across the entire GAS territory. The role will have key individual budget responsibility and will involve managing collaborative cross-functional partnerships as part of the deal-making and sales administration process for all media, including Pay, Free, Basic, AVOD, FOD, SVOD, TVOD, EST and PVOD formats. It will also play an integral part in managing and executing on the medium- to long-term growth strategy for the territory. As such the role would be suited to a seasoned sales executive with robust experience in both content distribution and team management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Work with key clients across GAS to drive a revenue portfolio comprised of both volume & output deals Leverage knowledge of the global media landscape, key European and GAS players and existing relationship-building skills to maximize content monetization for the overall GAS business Implement strategies to drive new revenue streams including participation in high-level deal negotiations, pitches to potential partners and drafting of business plans and analyses Work collaboratively with cross-functional groups, partners and internal stakeholders In particular, work closely with our Marketing, Research and product groups to create and build effective pitch and sales & marketing materials customized and targeted to specific GAS clients and platforms in a timely manner Effectively utilize performance and pricing data to monetize content in partnership with the Sales Strategy team Execute on the distribution sales strategy on a title-by-title basis for the GAS territories Oversight and development of a sales team of 4 Work with the SVP Sales Liaison and executives across Global Distribution to develop and execute the overall distribution strategy as well as build the distribution business in region Coordinate evolving windowing models in partnership with International Digital teams Proactively address and develop evolving content and packaging strategies in response to increasing volumes
