Director, Commercial & Marketing
NBCUniversal is a global leader in media and entertainment. We’re seeking a Commercial and Marketing Director to lead and execute our commercial and marketing strategy across APAC. This role requires a commercially focused, creatively minded leader with proven experience across media agencies, brand marketing, content creation, events and revenue generation. The successful candidate will lead the intersection of creativity and commerce—working with sales and marketing teams to deliver premium partnerships and branded content solutions that drive results and uphold NBCUniversal’s brand values. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Execution Execute the overall commercial and marketing strategy across sales and marketing teams, aligning with regional and global priorities. Build integrated go-to-market strategies that combine creativity, audience insights and revenue driving outcomes. Leverage digital and social opportunities for promotional and commercial solutions. Commercial Development Lead the development of commercial partnerships that deliver measurable results. Support commercial revenue growth by proactively identifying client challenges and packaging custom solutions that blend creativity, performance and innovation. Collaborate with partner sales teams to ideate and package innovative media solutions that meet client objectives across TV, digital and social platforms. Identify and develop compelling branded content solutions that integrate seamlessly with NBCUniversal’s media assets Collaborate with production teams and influencer/talent partners to bring branded content to life with authenticity and scale. Support the senior director in commercial strategy planning, forecasting, and sales reporting. Marketing & Brand Strategy Lead high-impact marketing campaigns that enhance the visibility and engagement of NBCUniversal brands. Maintain and elevate brand integrity, ensuring all activity aligns with global brand guidelines and values. Research, test and implement new trends, technologies and best practices across digital and social to remain relevant to our audiences and create commercial opportunities. Content & Event Management Oversee the development and execution of branded content campaigns, ensuring seamless collaboration between brand, talent, production and sales teams. Lead strategic planning and delivery of trade and consumer-facing events that strengthen partner relationships and elevate brand presence. Ensure events are commercially viable and executed to the highest standard, supporting sales and marketing objectives Team & Operational Leadership Lead and inspire a cross-functional team across sales and marketing, ensuring operational excellence, collaboration and high performance. Cultivate a culture of innovation, ownership, and creativity within the team. Review internal efficiencies and lead strategic planning across team in campaign execution and delivery. Performance & Reporting Define and track KPIs across platforms to measure commercial success and campaign impact. Build robust ROI modelling to demonstrate value to clients and inform future investment in digital and social programs. Analyse campaign performance and insights to continually optimise go-to-market strategy and commercial offerings.
