SVP, Communications, Entertainment & Sports

The SVP, Entertainment & Sports Communications will be responsible for setting an innovative communications strategy, maximizing opportunities to showcase the SpinCo portfolio inclusive of our cable TV networks and properties (USA Sports, USA Entertainment, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, Rotten Tomatoes, Fandango, Fandago at Home, Sports Next, Golf Channel, GolfNow, GolfPass, and Sports Engine). The executive is passionate about the entertainment and sports landscape with deep experience around building strong narratives to strengthen business position inclusive of launching new products, new shows and live events. This role will also provide strategic counsel to leadership and lead a team responsible for media relations, industry events, leadership speaking opportunities, and crisis communication. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership to ensure alignment and support for Comms Initiatives Develop and implement communication strategies that align with company goals Enhance and protect the company's brand reputation Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and influencers Manage crisis communication and media inquiries effectively Plan and execute high-profile events, including premieres, press conferences, and promotional activities Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes Monitor event budgets and timelines to ensure efficiency Develop comprehensive communication plans to promote key initiatives and projects Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies Partner with marketing, digital, and creative teams to align communication efforts Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and channels
