As part of the Media Group Decision Sciences team, this Manager of Data Science will be responsible for leading a team of Data Scientists focused on developing solutions to optimize our content, partnering closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineers. The Manger will be tasked with building and deploying scalable, data science and AI/ML driven, solutions to empower decisions specifically focused around show opportunities. The Manager will leverage a wide spectrum of data, their expertise in statistical methods and applied machine learning, and their understanding of the Media business to deliver impactful lift to our enterprise metrics. Responsibilities: Partner closely with key business stakeholders and teams (e.g. Content Strategy, Research, Advanced Analytics, Production teams) to define priorities, approaches, and business requirements for data science solutions and experiments Own and deliver results on existing and new complex projects related to our understanding of content Serve as a team expert in statistical methods and applied machine learning Translate complex problems and solutions to all levels of the organization Manage processes, platforms, and people in the audience optimization space Drive innovation of the methodologies and tools used by the team Collaborate with cross-portfolio and cross-platform Decision Sciences leads to understand different audience dynamics between Peacock content & customers and other NBCU businesses, brands and franchises Help contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture at Peacock
