Role Title: Associate Manager, Business & Legal Affairs Term: 12 months FTC – maternity leave cover Location: London Division: Universal International Studios Reporting to: VP, Business & Legal Affairs JOB DESCRIPTION The primary responsibility of this role is to provide business and legal affairs (“BALA”) support to NBCUniversal Formats, the international sales division responsible for all formats created within the production, broadcast and streaming divisions of NBCUniversal and Sky Studios, as well as select third parties.

OVERVIEW The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the consumer marketing activities for NBCUniversal’s filmed entertainment product through consumer facing marketing and supporting B2B efforts with local clients within the market. The Senior Marketing Manager will collaborate in the development and execution of marketing activities in collaboration with Universal Picture’s International team based out of London, as well as the Head Office Team in LA, to support Local market needs and whilst also ensuring a connection to a Global network of marketeers and senior leadership.

POSITION SUMMARY Contributes to technical management, inclusive of budget and schedule, for an attraction or attractions under an area of responsibility. Responsible for supporting the successful specification, bid/award, design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of Ride and/or Show systems, to include Set/Scenic, or Props. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES   Provides engineering technical (calculation, design, drafting, research) assistance to the Ride/Show teams in support of scenic scopes of work.

NBCUniversal’s Cyber Threat Operations team is responsible for providing cyber threat intelligence, event monitoring, response, and threat hunting for all areas of NBCUniversal in a highly collaborative, fast paced, and agile fashion. As a member of the Cyber Response team, a candidate can expect to utilize their technical expertise to assess, contain, and remediate cyber threats. The Sr Incident Responder is also an escalation point for security alerts from the security event analysts, and a candidate would be expected to mentor and share knowledge with others in the organization.

The Contract Management Manager is a key member of the Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) team, responsible for overseeing the contract lifecycle across specific territories and/or product categories. This role reports to the Sr. Manager - Contract Management. The Contract Management team works across functions and shepherds deals from the pitch phase all the way through final execution and payment.

The Contract Management Senior Manager is a key member of the Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) team, responsible for overseeing a team of Contract Managers and Coordinators, and overseeing the contract lifecycle across specific territories and/or product categories. This role reports to the Vice President – Contract Management, Clearances & GAM. The Contract Management team works across functions and shepherds deals from the pitch phase all the way through final execution and payment.

JOB SUMMARY Oversees and manages the Architectural and Engineering design and construction administration effort within a specific area of a project. Also manages the resources, finances, and schedule of that project. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Attends weekly project meetings. Responsible for the coordination between the Architecture and Engineering vendors and the ride/show vendors including the development of all preliminary final facility impacts. Monitors construction in the field including identifying and resolving discrepancies between the construction and drawings and/or design intent.

Responsible for on-site delivery and implementation of the UDX Construction Safety Program, including contractor/supplier safety performance, pre-construction coordination, site inspections/audits and technical safety guidance. Acts as the primary interface between HSE, Project Teams and Principal Contractors to ensure construction activities are planned and executed safely in accordance with UK Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) and Universal standards.

Leads the implementation and oversight of Environmental programs across the UK project development, ensuring compliance with UK environmental legislation and alignment with Universal standards. Oversees environmental requirements across all project phases, with an initial focus on contractor and supply chain performance to ensure effective implementation of environmental controls, standards, and permit conditions.

This role sits within the Business & Legal Affairs team for UTAS UK. The Director, BALA (Unscripted) will oversee a broad range of legal and business affairs matters across development, production, compliance, talent and rights for UTAS UK’s unscripted slate - from premium entertainment formats to returning reality franchises and major event specials. The role will partner closely with creative, production management, finance, casting, talent, formats, distribution, and global NBCUniversal business units.
