Application Engineer, Gbl Tix Platform

The Application Engineer role is to implement and maintain vendor provided ticketing software applications across all Parks. This includes installation and implementation as well as troubleshooting while providing day-to-day support to existing software applications. The Application Engineer will set up and maintain system administration and configuration of software systems. Provide day-to-day application support on software systems at all Parks Technology locations. This includes after hours, weekends and on-call support. Troubleshoot, analyze logs, replicate errors, determine root cause, and communicate findings. Liaise with other technical teams to assist in resolving problems with software products and/or configuration of hardware components. Build and maintain software system configuration of supported applications while adhering to defined standards. Attend meetings with business partners and vendors to communicate strategies, deployments, and troubleshooting issues. Design, run and monitor test cases on new and existing applications for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging. Create and maintain application documentation for all software applications including evolving processes. Provide knowledge transfer and onboarding for members of the team. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
