Regional Producer, NBC News Channel

NBC News Channel is a division of the NBC News Group, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Regional Producer serves as the primary editorial liaison between NBC News group, its owned and affiliated stations, and foreign and domestic partners. The Regional Producer gathers information on local coverage plans, monitors developing and breaking news, and identifies content with regional and national relevance. This is a weekend full-time staff position. Job Responsibilities: Primary contact with affiliate stations on local coverage Book and monitor live and tape feeds Respond quickly to breaking news Provide written editorial content and edit video for news stories Respond and fulfil content and reporter requests for NBC News network platforms Use all available editorial, social media, and desktop tools to gather, view, and share stories Book transmission facilities for live and tape feeds Fulfil requests for all NBC Network platforms
